Splinter Bids – Learn the requirements of a basic Splinter bid and understand why it is a useful way to use your bidding room.  The class will also discuss how your partner can re-evaluate after your Splinter bid.
 
 
Splinters, Splinters, Everywhere – Discuss the many uses of this convention.  Splinter bids can also occur over minor suit openings, after a 2/1 bid, after a 2§ opening and suit rebid, after a minor suit transfer auction, and more.  Once you embrace the concept and understand the hand evaluation aspects of the convention, it will become indispensable.  
 
 
Jacoby 2NT – This is a critical convention in modern 2/1 bidding.  This convention allows room for slam exploration while also guaranteeing game forcing strength. The first lesson will cover all the possible responses.
                                                             
 
Jacoby 2NT Part 2 – The follow-up lesson will explore more slam auctions and discuss control showing bids in a Jacoby 2NT context.  You will get much more comfortable in slam going auctions after this class!
