Add some fun to your day and bridge game with a series of bridge lessons from NABC champion and ABTA master teacher, Kevin Wilson. The lessons will be presented on BBO & Zoom. You will get access to four classes over consecutive weeks, a short write-up of examples, and video replays. This is an advanced-intermediate level bidding and conventions course.

Opener and Responder – The Big Rule for opener and responder.  This macro agreement allows a partnership to know when a bid is “just competitive” and when it is game invitational.

The Many Uses of Cuebids – A cuebid can be game invitational, slam invitational, game forcing, or even a mixed raise.  Learn all about different cuebid options and strengths depending on the level of the auction.
 
Wednesday July 2nd from 9:00 AM - 9:50 AM EDT (GMT-4)
Using the Law in Competitive Bidding – This is a guideline (not an actual law) which can help you make the difficult decisions about whether to compete to the three-level or let the opponents have the contract.  Bidding three over three will also be discussed.

Jordan 2NT – This convention is useful after a takeout double by the opponents, when no cuebid is available to responder.  Learn the ins and outs of this valuable convention and how to use it to improve your bidding accuracy.
